Despite Februarys cold weather the Bencardino crew pressed on to develop the work site at Frankford and Harbinson Avenues in Northeast Philadelphia. The crew is doing prep work for an auto parts store and family dollar shop both of which will add to the diversity to the retail cluster for the Mayfair community. This site poses a unique challenge because, even though its in a developed area, the parcel has significant issues with storm water drainage. To help manage this the Bencardino crew is in the process of putting drainage retention cisterns at keys points on the property. To do this the crew must dig at least 12 feet into the ground to lay the basic infrastructure for the system. After that is in place the crew must lay all appropriate drainage pipes and level the lot so its drains towards these sections. The technically advance process is something our crews specialize in and is something we are well versed in doing. After the site is graded to the desired level the Bencardino crew will lay to buildings base pad so the construction company can begin construction of the physical buildings.
