Bencardino Excavating is near Torresdale and Megargee Street in Northeast Philadelphia helping to build a new facility for NewCourtland. This is a ground up project with T. N. Ward Company for a new Adult Community Center. Specific aspects of the project include an underground basin with over 6,770’ of 48” pipe, a new water quality Jellyfish manhole, storm connections to existing 84” pipe, 3 new water lines, 3,500’ of new concrete curb, 12,000 sf of concrete sidewalk and 5,400 sy of asphalt paving. The community center is scheduled to open in the spring of 2020.
