We are very excited to announce that we will be heading up excavation work for the SugarHouse Casino project on the Delaware River Waterfront in Philadelphia.

SugarHouse Casino, which will be located at 1080 North Delaware Avenue in Philadelphia, promises to be one of the city's most exciting attractions, bringing a new mix of entertainment, fine dining, exciting retail and gaming to the Greater Philadelphia region.

Bencardino Excavating was hired by A.T. Chadwick Company, Inc., of Bensalem, Pa., and Gordon Group Electric of Feasterville, Pa., to handle electrical and mechanical plumbing excavation and sanitary and storm water drainage installation at the Sugarhouse Casino site. Bencardino foremen Chuck Woelk, Jr. and Greg Davis will be on-site managing the daily operations at the casino.

According to owner Lou Bencardino, "This project is the second casino site that we have handled excavation work for this year. We take pride in being a part of regional economic development by helping to build businesses that will bring more jobs to the Philadelphia community."
