Bencardino Excavating, a full-service excavation company located in Bucks County, Pa. and owned by Louis A. Bencardino, was hired by Philadelphia-based general contractor Domus to handle demolition and renovation work on the Williams Way Housing Project in Center City.

Bencardino is set to complete all work at the Street Road location with H&H Construction Services LLC of Reading, Pa.


Louis A. Bencardino and Bencardino Excavating were hired by Bristol Township, Bucks County, Pa., to create a new valve system to regulate water overflow caused by the Delaware River tides. The project was needed to prevent water from entering the township sewer system on Mill Street when the Delaware River’s tide rises.


Louis A. Bencardino and Bencardino Excavating will soon begin working on expanding the executive parking lot of the Parx Casino® (the former Philadelphia Park Racetrack) in Bensalem, Bucks County, Pa. The renovation to the parking lot will include cut to fill, new storm piping and inlets. Bencardino and his team will also be working on creating new curbs and will be paving the parking lot.

Bencardino Excavating of Bensalem, Pa., announced today that the TD Bank Redevelopment and Rain Garden project in Hockessin, Delaware, was selected as one of the top 10 storm water projects in the United States by nationally recognized Storm Water Solutions magazine.


Bencardino Excavating has begun the race to complete the site work for the new Philadelphia Park Slots Casino in Bensalem, Pa. The $350 million project will separate the horse racing facility from the casino. The casino has to be completed by Fall 2009.
